A-1 Truss has been operating since 1993 starting out supplying roof trusses for residential homes. Over the years we have grown into a reputable and experienced truss manufacturer. In 2005, new ownership took over and expanded production to include residential, commercial and farm buildings as well as TJI Floor Joist Systems. As of summer 2009 A-1 Truss re-located into a new, 10,000 sq. foot facility, with 3 acre yard, fully equipped with top of the line industry specific equipment. Under one roof you will find in-house designers who will help develop the truss plan to fit your framing needs. Our staff is knowledgeable in truss design and can answer all your questions and concerns. When you give us a plan we have our in-house truss designers design each individual truss and a truss layout using MiTek engineering software. Our computerized trusses are then put into production electronically. From there we manufacture the trusses where the finished trusses are banded and shipped to site ready to install.

Fast and accurate truss production

Here at A-1 Truss you will find advantages to our new facility. We have increased shop space and added new machinery such as our automated wizard gantry table. This table insures consistent and accurate construction of trusses, by physically mapping out each truss as it's constructed, reducing error and saving time on site for framers. Our new facilities are also equipped two new Spida saws which have reduced cutting time, as all cuts are already pre-programmed through the computer, making us more flexible with construction and delivery times.
