He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and fearful is His name.

Psalms 114
1 When Israel went out of Egypt,
the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) Judah was His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion.
3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) The sea saw it and fled; the Jordan was driven back;
4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) the mountains skipped like rams
and the hills like lambs.
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) What alarmed you, O sea, that you fled,
O Jordan, that you turned back,
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) O mountains, that you skipped like rams,
O hills, like lambs?
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob
8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) who turned the rock into a pool of water,
the hard stone into a spring of waters.
Psalm 114
[1] When Israel went out of Egypt,
The house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
[2] Judah was his sanctuary, And Israel his dominion.
[3] The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
[4] The mountains skipped like rams,
And the little hills like lambs.
[5] What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest?
Thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
[6] Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams;
And ye little hills, like lambs?
[7] Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob;
[8] Which turned the rock into a standing water,
The flint into a fountain of waters.
Psalms 115
Ps 135:15-20
1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory,
for the sake of Your mercy, and for the sake of Your truth.
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) Why should the nations say,
"Where now is their God?"
3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) But our God is in the heavens;
He does whatever He pleases.
4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Their idols are silver and gold,
the work of men's hands.
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) They have mouths, but they cannot speak;
eyes, but they cannot see;
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) they have ears, but they cannot hear;
noses, but they cannot smell;
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) they have hands, but they cannot feel;
feet, but they cannot walk; neither can they speak with their throat.
8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) Those who make them are like them;
so is everyone who trusts in them.
9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) O Israel, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
12 The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless those who fear the Lord,
both the small and great ones.
14 The Lord shall increase you more and more,
you and your children.
15 You are blessed of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
16 The heavens belong to the Lord,
but the earth He has given to the children of men.
17 The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence.
18 But we will bless the Lord from this time and for evermore.
Praise the Lord!
Psalms 115
[1] Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy
mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
[2] Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
[3] But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
[4] Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
[5] They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
[6] They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
[7] They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not:
neither speak they through their throat.
[8] They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in
them.
[9] O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
[10] O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
[11] Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their
shield.
[12] The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the
house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
[13] He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
[14] The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
[15] Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
[16] The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he
given to the children of men.
[17] The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
[18] But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
Praise the LORD.
Psalm 116
1 I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice
and my supplications.
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) Because He has inclined His ear to me,
therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) The cords of death encircled me,
and the pains of Sheol took hold ofme;
I found trouble and sorrow.
4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Then called I upon the name of the Lord:
"O Lord, I plead with You, deliver my soul."
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;
indeed, our God is merciful.
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) The Lord protects the simple;
I was brought low, and He helped me.
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) Return to your rest, O my soul;
for the Lord has vindicated you.
8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) For You have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) I will walk before the Lord
in the land of the living.
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) I believed, indeed I have spoken:
"I am greatly afflicted."
11Ps 42:5; 43:5 I said in my haste, "All men are liars."
12 What shall I render unto the Lord
for all His benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all His people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.
16 O Lord, I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, the son of Your female servant; You have loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving
and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord
now in the presence of all His people,
19 in the courts of the house of the Lord,
in your midst, O Jerusalem.
Praise the Lord!
Psalms 116
[1] I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
[2] Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him
as long as I live.
[3] The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon
me: I found trouble and sorrow.
[4] Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver
my soul.
[5] Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
[6] The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
[7] Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully
with thee.
[8] For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my
feet from falling.
[9] I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
[10] I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
[11] I said in my haste, All men are liars.
[12] What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
[13] I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
[14] I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
[15] Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
[16] O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine
handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
[17] I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon
the name of the LORD.
[18] I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
[19] In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.
Praise ye the LORD.
Psalm 117

and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord!

endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

because His mercy endures forever.
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) Let Israel say,
"His mercy endures forever."
3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) Let the house of Aaron say,
"His mercy endures forever."
4 (Isa 30:29; Ps 62:8) Let those who fear the Lord say,
"His mercy endures forever."
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) I called upon the Lord from my distress;
the Lord answered me and set me in an open place.
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can people do to me?
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) The Lord is on my side to help me;
I shall look in triumph upon those who hate me.
8 (Job 35:10; Ps 63:6) It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man.
9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in princes.
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) All nations encircled me,
but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) They circled me; indeed, they surrounded me,
but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They circled me like bees; they went forth as a fire over thorns,
but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 You have pushed against me, that I was falling,
but the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song;
He has become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation
is in the tents of the righteous:
"The right hand of the Lord is valiant.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted;
the right hand of the Lord is valiant."
17 I shall not die, but I shall live
and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has severely chastened me,
but He has not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord;
the righteous shall enter through.
21 I will thank You that You have heard me
and have become my deliverance.
22 The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
23 This is what the Lord has done;
it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day that the Lord has made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save us, we ask You, O Lord; O Lord, we ask You, send now success.
26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 The Lord is God, and He has shown us His light;
bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.
29 Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good,
for His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 118
[1] O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
Because his mercy endureth for ever.
[2] Let Israel now say,
That his mercy endureth for ever.
[3] Let the house of Aaron now say,
That his mercy endureth for ever.
[4] Let them now that fear the LORD say,
That his mercy endureth for ever.
[5] I called upon the LORD in distress:
The LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
[6] The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me?
[7] The LORD taketh my part with them that help me:
Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
[8] It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.
[9] It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.
[10] All nations compassed me about:
But in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
[11] They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about:
But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
[12] They compassed me about like bees;
they are quenched as the fire of thorns:
For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
[13] Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: But the LORD helped me.
[14] The LORD is my strength and song, And is become my salvation.
[15] The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles
of the righteous: The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
[16] The right hand of the LORD is exalted:
The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
[17] I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.
[18] The LORD hath chastened me sore:
But he hath not given me over unto death.
[19] Open to me the gates of righteousness:
I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
[20] This gate of the LORD, Into which the righteous shall enter.
[21] I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, And art become my salvation.
[22] The stone which the builders refused
Is become the head stone of the corner.
[23] This is the LORD's doing;
It is marvellous in our eyes.
[24] This is the day which the LORD hath made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
[25] Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD:
O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
[26] Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD:
We have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
[27] God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light:
Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
[28] Thou art my God, and I will praise thee:
Thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
[29] O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
For his mercy endureth for ever.

Jesus Is the Answer by Tim Gustafson
Psalm 144:1-2,9-15
A Psalm of David.
1 Blessed be the Lord my strength,
who prepares my hands for war,
and my fingers to fight;
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) my goodness, and my fortress;
my high tower, and my deliverer,
my shield, and in whom I trust;
who subdues nations under me.
9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) I will sing a new song unto You, O God,
on a harp and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises unto You;
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17 )it is He who gives victory to kings,
who delivers David His servant from the cruel sword.
11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) Rescue me and deliver me
from the hand of foreigners,
whose mouths speak lies
and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
12 May our sons in their youth
be like plants full grown,
and our daughters like cornerstones,
cut in the similitude of a palace,
13 that our granaries may be full,
providing all manner of produce,
that our sheep may bring forth
thousands and ten thousands in our fields,
14 and may our cattle may be strong in labor.
May there be no breaking in
or going out,
and no wailing in our streets.
15 Blessed are the people who have such things;
indeed, blessed are the people whose God is the Lord.
Psalm 144
[1] Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my
fingers to fight:
[2] My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my
shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
[9] I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an
instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
[10] It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his
servant from the hurtful sword.
[11] Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth
speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
[12] That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our
daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a
palace:
[13] That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our
sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
[14] That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in,
nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
[15] Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that
people, whose God is the LORD.
Sabin Howard's remarkable sculpture A Soldier's Journey breathes with vitality
and anguish. Thirty-eight bronze figures lean forward across
a fifty-eight-foot bas-relief that traces the life of a World War I soldier.
Completed in 2024, the panorama begins with a heartrending goodbye to family,
leads us through the naive elation of departure, and moves into the horrors
of battle. Finally the sculpture returns us home, where the veteran's daughter
peers into his upturned helmet-only to foresee World War II.
Howard sought "to find the thread that runs through humanity-that human
beings can reach great heights, and they can sink to the level
of the animal." War reveals this reality.
The psalmist David knew well the bloody consequences of war.
Aware of its tragic necessity to confront evil, he praised the God
who "trains my hands for war" (Psalm 144:1). Yet he also recoiled from combat,
praying, "From the deadly sword deliver me" (vv. 10-11). David looked forward
to the time when the young won't die in war, but sons "will be like
well-nurtured plants" and daughters "like pillars carved to adorn a palace"
(v. 12). On that day "there will be no breaching of walls,
no going into captivity, no cry of distress in our streets" (v. 14).
Looking back, we remember those who've fallen in battle. Looking ahead, we
sing with David, "I will sing a new song to you, my God" (v. 9).
Reflect & Pray
How has war affected you? What can you do to work for peace?
Father, we remember those who've died in war. We long for Your lasting peace.

Week 1 Knowing God's Word Day 2 - Growing Up
2 Tim 3:16-17
16 (Ro 15:4) All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable
for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction
in righteousness,
17 (1Ti 6:11; 2Ti 2:21) that the man of God may be complete,
thoroughly equipped for every good work.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness:
17 that the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works.
"I can't wait till I get big!" Marc, age 5, declared. "Then I do
what I want!" Most of us, as children, shared Marc's statement.
We looked forward to that "magic age" - 16, 18, 21 - when we
would be adults: mature, able to make our own decisions.
We find, of course, that adulthood has its own share of
difficulties and conflicts. But even in our spiritual lives
we often long for a "magic moment" of maturity. As one woman
confessed, "Ever since I became a Christian, I've hoped I'd wake up
one morning to find myself mature."
But growth in the spiritual life comes gradually, like growth in
the physical world. In 2 Tim 2:16-17, Paul gives the young pastor
Timothy an important key to spiritual growing up - the Word of God.
The Word is "profitable" or "useful," Paul says, for "teaching" - that is,
for developing a right concept of God. Scripture offers "rebuke" when
we go wrong, "correction" to set us on the right path, and "training
in righteousness" so that we can grow in the image of Christ.
The purpose of Scripture's work in our lives, Paul emphasises,
is that we may be "perfect" - mature, equipped for the good things
God has for us to do. Such maturity does not come easily
or instantaneously, but it does come - sometimes imperceptibly -
as we submit our lives to the transforming power of God's Word.
Application
a) In what areas of my life do I need to grow? How can I benefit
from the Bible's
i) teaching?
ii) rebuke?
iii) correction?
iv) training in righteousness?
4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland
Malachi 3:10-12
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in
My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not
open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing,
that there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 I will rebuke the devourer
for your sakes, so that it will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
and the vines in your field will not fail to bear fruit,
says the Lord of Hosts.
12 Then all the nations will call you blessed, for you will be
a delightful land, says the Lord of Hosts.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in
mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall
not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy
the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit
before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be
a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:
When you are Worried Over Money
Matt 6:19-21
Treasures in Heaven
Lk 12:33-34
19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth
and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy
and where thieves do not break in nor steal,
21 for where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth
and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth
nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Remember God's promises when You pray
The Lord's prayer
Matthew 6:9-13
9 "Therefore pray in this manner:
Our Father who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.
12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."
9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Ontario
Quick facts on Muslims in Ontario
Ontario 2015 population 13 687 7000
est Muslim Population 1 001 542
CNMM Networks: Ottawa, Durham, York, Toronto, Mississauga, Halton, Hamilton,
Niagara, Kitchener, London, Windsor
Ontario has 55% of all of Canada's entire Muslim population. This means that
the whole of the Muslim world is represented somewhere in this province. Most
Muslims are understandably located along the southern border stretching
from Windsor eastward all the way up to Ottawa. Yet Muslims are constantly
resettling in more and more suburban and even small towns of Ontario. Mosques
are springing up, and where there are enough gathered, Islamic schools
are starting.
And they're not complacent, either. Many Islamic leaders are energetic in their
advancement of Islam in Canadian society. Recently in the Niagara Region,
the local mosque distributed via Canada Post as many as 50000 full-colour
brochures on Islam. An that mosque's Facebook page proudly show pictures of
"reverts", or white Canadians who have converted to Islam as a result of
receiving the flier and engaging with the mosque community. Another town
reports Muslims going door-to-door evangelism.
Agree in prayer for:
- net network leaders - the need is great
- the development of network leadership teams
- good connections with local pastors, congregations and individuals
whom God is calling into this ministry.
- wisdom facilitating outreach and training activities for mobilising
believers
- new full and part-time workers among Muslims throughout all these areas
- for pastors and churches to respond not in fear, but full of faith and love
towards Muslims, sharing Jesus with them.

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020
Under the Keep Praying page
When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month
and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days
of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that
usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,
of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be
decorated and festivals will be held.
For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the
distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of
Islam.
You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
which means Blessed Eid!"
Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you
know, and Muslims around the world:
- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions
in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about
unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such
movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three
decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim
relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.
Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,
"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
18 Even on My menservants and maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below:
blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]
Footnotes
Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.
- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective
discipleship movements among Muslim people.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for
Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.
Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a
hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the
house."
Ideas for prayer
- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving
Christ among Muslim people -
Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims
throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!
And
Thank you for praying through the
5 Days of Prayer for Sikhs.
"My name is Kam. I'm 29 years of age, and I grew up Sikh. As a teenager,
I struggled with depression, brokenness, and addiction to
cannabis. I didn't know how to stop or how to get help.
Then a friend invited me to church. As I spent time with Christians
and heard the message of the Gospel, I experienced the
love of Jesus Christ, and it was like nothing I'd known before.
One night I had a dream where I saw Him - a figure surrounded by
light who I knew was Jesus, the light of the world.
As I began to understand the gospel message, I encountered a reassuring and
confident solution to the problem of sin. I knew that I needed a solution
to my sin problem, and I gave my life to Christ.
Slowly, God began to heal my broken heart and my addiction.
Nine years have passed, and I am a devoted husband and a father
to two beautiful boys. I grow deeper in love with Jesus each day.
I ask you to continue praying with me, and others around the world, for Sikhs.
God is the only one who can draw people to Himself. He works in and through
the prayers of His people. I want Sikhs to know the freedom
and healing that is only available through Jesus Christ."
13 (Ro 14:17; 12:12) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy

2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) Because He has inclined His ear to me,

3 (Ps 79:10; 80:5) The cords of death encircled me,
and the pains of Sheol took hold ofme;
I found trouble and sorrow.

10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17) I believed, indeed I have spoken:
"I am greatly afflicted."
11Ps 42:5; 43:5 I said in my haste, "All men are liars."
12 What shall I render unto the Lord
for all His benefits toward me?

14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all His people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.
16 O Lord, I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, the son of Your female servant; You have loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving

Psalm 117
1 Praise the Lord, all you nations! Exalt Him, all you peoples!
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) For His merciful kindness is great towardus,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord!
Psalms 117
[1] O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
[2] For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD
endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Psalms 118
1 Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good,
because His mercy endures forever.
5 (Ps 42:11; 43:5) I called upon the Lord from my distress;
the Lord answered me and set me in an open place.
6 (2Sa 17:22; Dt 3:8-9) The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can people do to me?
7 (Ps 88:7; Jnh 2:3) The Lord is on my side to help me;
I shall look in triumph upon those who hate me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song;
He has become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation
is in the tents of the righteous:
"The right hand of the Lord is valiant.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted;
the right hand of the Lord is valiant."
17 I shall not die, but I shall live
and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has severely chastened me,
but He has not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord;
the righteous shall enter through.
21 I will thank You that You have heard me
and have become my deliverance.
22 The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
23 This is what the Lord has done;
it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day that the Lord has made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save us, we ask You, O Lord; O Lord, we ask You, send now success.
26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 The Lord is God, and He has shown us His light;
bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
[12] They compassed me about like bees;
they are quenched as the fire of thorns:
[23] This is the LORD's doing;
It is marvellous in our eyes.
[24] This is the day which the LORD hath made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

1 Blessed be the Lord my strength,
who prepares my hands for war,
and my fingers to fight;
2 (Ps 63:1; 84:2) my goodness, and my fortress;
my high tower, and my deliverer,
my shield, and in whom I trust;
who subdues nations under me.
9 (Ps 38:6; 18:2) I will sing a new song unto You, O God,
on a harp and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises unto You;
10 (Ps 42:3; Joel 2:17 )it is He who gives victory to kings,
who delivers David His servant from the cruel sword.
11 (Ps 42:5; 43:5) Rescue me and deliver me
from the hand of foreigners,
whose mouths speak lies
and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
12 May our sons in their youth
be like plants full grown,
and our daughters like cornerstones,
cut in the similitude of a palace,
13 that our granaries may be full,
providing all manner of produce,
that our sheep may bring forth
thousands and ten thousands in our fields,
14 and may our cattle may be strong in labor.
May there be no breaking in
or going out,
and no wailing in our streets.
15 Blessed are the people who have such things;
indeed, blessed are the people whose God is the Lord.

Words in Season Scripture Memory Tools
10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;
Your will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,
"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
13 (Ro 14:17; 12:12) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy
and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope,
through the power of the Holy Spirit.

ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
