The Seed Centre History

Seed Centre Inc. was founded by Harry Wigelsworth over 50 years ago in Edmonton Alberta. At the time of inception Seed Centre operated out of the second smallest commercial property in Edmonton with a modest 300 square feet, but Harry had a vision to always offer high quality products with exceptional service at reasonable prices. Over the years our customers have told us that Harry had the right vision and we have continued to grow to serve their needs. Despite this growth our family run business has always remained true to Harry's vision, and we take great pride in the loyalty of our customers, many of which have been growing with us for decades. As we enter the new millenium we are continuing to expand to meet customer needs, but we will never sacrifice our basic principles because we don't want to become the largest seed company, only the best, and we are the -

Seed Centre packages two lines of seed, Seed Centre Premium Seeds and Farmers Brand Bulk Seeds. We source our seed from around the world and only buy the best. We perform extensive testing on all of the varieties that we sell, to ensure that you get top performance from all of our products. You will notice that we do not offer any other gardening products in this web site, the reason for this is simple.
