This unique vegetable is a member of the cabbage family and produces a turnip shaped bulb above ground. When cooked, the flavour resembles cauliflower, but it is also delicious raw. An excellent choice for gardens where root maggot or cut worms have hampered root crops.

White Vienna - 55 days. Plants 30-35 cm [12-14"] tall. Slender stems. Globe shaped bulbs are a light green colour with white flesh. Best harvest when bulbs are about 5 cm [2"] in diameter. Slightly earlier than Purple Vienna.
