Hints:

  • Do not presoak beans to hasten germination
  • Plant 5 cm [2"] apart and 2.5 cm [1"] deep
  • Beans are susceptible to diseases. Remove plants in fall and try not to plant in the same location for 3 years.

  • Romano Bush - 60 days. Plants are 40 cm [16"] tall bush. Distinctively flavoured green beans with wide stringless pods averaging 15 cm [6"]. Very heavy yields. Tender meaty pods are good for freezing and canning. Popular for roadside stands.
