Byers crew
L to R: Byers, Morison, Fawcett, Meredith, Moore, Holdgate, Patterson. Bill Byers twin brother George was also a pilot in 429 Sqn. George FTR from Dusseldorf on 3/4 Nov 43. Bill Morison stayed on with the Sqn as the Assistant Nav Leader then the Nav Leader. Morison is probably the longest serving aircrew member in 429 Sqn approx. 2.5 years.
