Covering System

Horizon Structures produces buildings from 80' to 200' wide on individual bay covering systems using Keder attachments. This provides our customers higher levels of satisfaction while reducing maintenance.
In addition to better satisfaction and less maintenance there are other benefits to producing buildings this way.
- Each building bay has its own cover. Should a cover be damaged, one bay can be replaced as opposed to replacing the entire building cover, creating significant cost savings.
- Keder covers are frictionless and will not create weak spots in the fabric while on the truss system.
- Monolithic covers have a friction point on each rafter and are used for buildings under 60' wide.
- All maintenance is completed at ground level so there is no need to tighten straps in the middle of the building.
- We use only coated steel cable in our covers to anchor them to the foundation. Cables do not unravel like rope or other inferior anchoring methods.
On buildings 26' to 70' wide, Horizon Structures uses wind reducing pipe pocket on the membrane.
