AHLA Privacy Statement
Protecting the privacy and the confidentiality of our information over the internet, on the telephone, or through our office is fundamental to our way of doing business at the Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association. We operate on the basis of a Privacy Policy that guides the collection, use, distribution, storage and destruction of the personal information you entrust to us.
We have developed this policy in accordance with the new Personal Information Policy Protection Act [PIPA], which became law in the province of Alberta on January 1, 2004, and in order to demonstrate commitment to protecting members, partners and potential website visitors. This policy is consistent with the current requirements under Bill C-6 [Personal Information Protection & Electronics Document Act] and Bill 44 [Personal Information Protection Act].
