Critical to the promotion of the province's accommodation sector, the AHLA publishes Alberta's official travel guides: Alberta Accommodation Guide, Alberta Campground Guide and maintains the official travel website: www.explorealberta.com.

It is not necessary to be a member of the AHLA in order to be inspected and listed in the guides and on the Explore Alberta website.

Distributed free of charge, the guides include information about the services, rates and facilities offered. Also highlighted are properties meeting the national standards in programs such as Canada Select and Access Canada.

All listings are inspected annually by the AHLA's Accommodation Services team to ensure that at least certain levels of minimum standards have been achieved.
